I am a Registered General Nurse and Advanced Nurse Practitioner with twenty-five of experience spanning general practice and community, social and palliative care. This includes significant clinical leadership, staff recruitment and training, managing domiciliary care packages and rehabilitation, assessing, diagnosing and treating patients with a broad variety of conditions. I am a qualified Nurse Prescriber.
I developed and held comprehensive operational management responsibility for a successful community domiciliary care agency, including accountability for clinical governance, team leadership, training, policy development and implementation, CQC compliance and performance management. Within this role I also designed, established and managed an innovative and high-performing bridging service to discharge clients into the community.
In recent years I have worked across many sectors supporting the Covid pandemic including testing, Track and Trace and technical assessing and worked with clients who had personal health budgets.
