Danielle has been working as a Children’s Nurse in acute and community settings for the past 11 years. She is passionate about supporting babies, children, young people and their families to have the best possible lives, encompassing their medical, social and emotional needs. As part of her current role she has set up a support group for a caseload of families affected by Cerebral Palsy and Hypoxic Ischaemic Encephalopathy.
She is a part of the Pan-London Long-Term Ventilation Network, striving to improve practice across London and nationally. Danielle has developed a Hospital Admission Protocol (HAP), the first of its kind, which allows BCYP’s Continuing Care packages to support them during local hospital admissions.
